A POP OF COLOUR

A “pop of colour” is a phrase I often use…Creating the colour palette each season is one of my favourite parts of the design process – it’s when the drawings really start to come to life…  I have spent many a day in the design studio pondering the colour palette with the team trying to work out what our “pops of colour” will be… A colour that I return to again and again (so much so that I consider it a signature Wakeley colour) is this beautiful Marrakech orange… that deeply saturated, slightly burnt orange that reminds me of the epic sunsets over the desert in Marrakech (with a cocktail in hand, of course)… there is something about this colour that is just super expensive looking and despite it’s intensity it works brilliantly with everything from denims to neutrals and even as a brave colour clash…

Introducing the carryall  Midi Andrews, with it’s contrast python printed strap…it screams summer to me and looks so chic styled with denim and indigo tones but will be the perfect workhorse work bag when we finally get to go to an office…

The North-South Mini Larson… a shrunken cross body tote bag with drawstring suede sides and a slight equestrian feel featuring our signature double prong buckle… Try layering over our python print satinised georgette wrap shirt… totally effortless…

Whether it’s the super multi-functional Thurman bag, the micro Adams  or even a cardholder… I think we all deserve to add a little Pop Of Colour into our lives right now…

Hoping for sunny weekends for all, wherever you are…

I will be dreaming of sundowners in Marrakech!

Sending love

Ax
